This week kicks off our 6th annual Marfa Open Art Festival, a 3-week art spectacle featuring a rotating program of visual and performing art. We have so much good stuff planned for y’all this year, it’s ridiculous.
On Thursday, Sept. 23rd - join us for an evening of art and music for the 6th Annual MO Art Festival. Art opening and refreshments in the evening + a late night live musical performance by acclaimed Austin native hip hop artist, Kydd Jones.

Where: Marfa Open Arts Festival HQ - 102 S. Plateau St. (the big white building behind the DQ)
Art opening starts around 6:30pm.

Show is FREE and open to the public. Masks are mandatory inside the gallery, no exceptions.
KYDD JONES - About the Artist:
After performing at SXSW 2019, born and raised Austinite Kydd Jones guested on Grammy-winning guitarist Gary Clark Jr's set during Week 1 of Austin City Limits Music Festival and was announced as a Creative Ambassador for the City of Austin by Mayor Steve Adler. In 2020, Jones was nominated for "Best Hip Hop Act'' in the Austin Music Awards and performed for NPR's Songs For Change.
Kydd Jones has previously appeared at festivals such as the Billboard Hot 100 Fest and the Brooklyn Hip-Hop Festival and has worked with artists like Felly (300 Entertainment), Max Frost (Atlantic Records), Yelawolf (Shady/Aftermath), Eric Dingus (OVO Sound) and Gary Clark Jr (Warner Brothers).
