Tina RIvera is a filmmaker and creator residing in Marfa, Texas. Her articulation of style for the Whitney Houston Memorial Bathroom shows her talent for concept, installation, video editing and her love of botanical aesthetics. And perhaps, just a splash of the dark humor in us all.
The bathroom installation was inspired by the death of world famous singer Whitney Houston, who fatally drowned in her bathtub after heavy drug consumption. This installation/altar is an acknowledgement of the passing of someone who inspired many. It was featured as a part of Marfa Open 2018.
